News And Information About KZION LDS Radio
Christmas music on KZION will end today as well as the request system being open to all members. I’ve really enjoyed the Christmas season on KZION. I added a boat load of new Christmas music this year and even have a few CD’s left that I didn’t have time to add to the playlist.
I hope you have enjoyed the Sounds of Christmas on KZION LDS Radio.
Due to some vulnerabilities found in the KZION website I have had to make some changes in all of the core files and so there maybe some errors over the next 24 hours or so. If you encounter an error please report it to john at kzion dot com. Thank you.
This weblog from now on will be dedicated to KZION radio information and news only. I have created another website as a collection point for all my different projects, articles and interests. I started a Planet LDS. Planet is a python based feed aggregator that reads a selected number of RSS, RDF, or Atom feeds and combines them into one single weblog. There are many different Planet sites such as Planet Apache, Planet Java, Planet Mozilla, etc. Now there is a Planet LDS. I only have about a dozen feeds added but that will change as soon as I get some time. I plan on adding most of the LDS blogs that post on a regular basis.
The look is atrocious but it’s all I have time for now. Perhaps down the road I’ll look at the design. Why did I create it? I don’t know. Because I could, I guess. It’s run by a single Cron job that updates the posts every hour. No worries. Now you can read all your favorite blogs from one place.

Check out Google Suggest. As you type into the search box, Google Suggest guesses what you’re typing and offers suggestions in real time. It also shows you how many results would be returned with the search.

Update: While playing with Google Suggest I entered KZION and I was pleasantly surprised to find 16,400 results for KZION and 8,670 for KZION radio.

I had a power outage this morning and didn’t know about it until I got home at 4:00 PM this afternoon. KZION is back online.
This email I received this morning comes from Mike, a high school student. I don’t hear much from the youger listeners so I was pretty excited to receive this.
I just wanted to tell you THANK YOU so much for this great service. I have a free membership because I am a poor High school kid and that is why I am so grateful. I listen to it at school every morning in my computer class and it just makes my day. Especially now during the Christmas season. I just love to listen to all of the music and wanted to let you know how much I appreciate KZION. thanks!
