Update On The KZION Move

I think the move to the new server is complete. There may be a few errors here and there and those can be fixed as they expose themselves. The move was much more difficult that I had anticipated. Since I have my own dedicated server I have to configure everything myself and I have never been exposed to having to do that. I had a really hard time getting the subdomains working. I’m positive that whoever created DNS was on crack.

I’m pretty excited to check out the stability of KZION now that it’s on its own server.

Good News On The CT Scan

The doctor called this afternoon and said that the CT Scan my son took looked good. We can eliminate any kind of tumor which is a much needed relief. Now we need to narrow this thing down and figure out what’s causing the headaches.

Just Returned From The Hospital

My son has had a unrelenting headache for about 2 months now that has become worse in the past 3 or 4 days. The headache never goes away and when it gets really bad it moves to the top of his head. Sunday we called the doctor to call us in a prescription for something stronger than what he has been taking. He took 2 Demoral and it did not even phase his headache.

We took him in this morning for a CT Scan. We should get the results in a day or two. We are hoping and praying for the best. His calcium levels also came back high when they ran the last set of blood tests. He was in a car accident about a year ago and a wrench hit him in the back of the head. We’re not sure if this is related.

This sure has taken a drain on all of us. We need to invent a machine that you hook up to the human body and it gives you a readout of everything that is wrong with you. :)

Yes, I’m Still Here

Sheesh…I can’t believe how fast time is flying by. It’s already the middle of January. I’m still wondering where Christmas and New Years went.

My Ebay business has been going well. It’s extremely time consuming and has taken up so much of my KZION time. But, I’m going to be making more time for the radio station. Today I leased a dedicated server for all of my websites and about a dozen customers that I provide hosting for. Moving KZION to a new server is going to be a huge project but as you probably know it has to be done. The webhost I use now goes down almost daily. It has become so frustrating to me and I’m sure to the KZION listeners. Within the next week I will be moving KZION and maybe even launch the new KZION website.

I have been spending quite a bit of time keeping the KZION Members area updated with new music in the Jukebox and the Radio.Blog. Have to take care of the paying customers first.

I’m going to start getting back on a regular posting schedule here on the blog. I really have enjoyed it and need to make sure I have time for the things I enjoy.

Jericho Road Returns To Its Utah Roots

The Road to stardom Tour-weary Jericho Road returns to its Utah roots

I found an article about Jericho Road in the Provo Daily Herald.

“Between Smith, Mills, Bryce (a business management graduate) and Kimball (a marketing communications graduate) the group handles its own booking, advertising and promotion. The four chip in to run Jericho Road as their own small business.”

I didn’t know that. I thought Deseret Book managed the band. Which would include booking shows, advertising, and promotion. In fact I know they managed the band at one time. This is either inaccurate, incomplete, or they have gone out on their own.

Anybody know?

Praying for time — Does God prefer long or short prayers?
