It Was A Great Game!
James is #49. The first picture he is running to the outside, the second one he is coming off the field after a touchdown, the third one is James getting a slow start off the line but still managing 4 yards, and the last picture is James getting tackled by Cedar City after a 40 yard run.
Wow, what a game. We showed up about 15 minutes early and saw the starting offense on the field running through some plays. I didn’t see James at first but then saw him standing with the rest of the team. He was not running through the plays with the starting offense. I just couldn’t believe it. I felt so bad for James but we held out hope.
Were his grades not where they should be? We checked them last night on the computer and they looked great. Was he hurt? We just didn’t know. Finally, in the middle of the second quarter James was sent in. We were so nervous. His first carry he ran 10 yards, second carry 11 yards and third carry 35 yards for a touchdown!! Oh my heck, what a great feeling to see my boy after so much struggle to carry the ball in for a touchdown.
James ended up with 124 yards and three touchdowns! We’re on our way to his favorite restaurant, Cafe Rio for a celebration.
