Kenneth Cope Concert Last Night
Shelly and I attended the Kenneth Cope concert in St. George last night. We had such a great time. Kenneth is a master performer and treated the audience to a spiritually uplifting show that bore testimony of Heavenly Father and the Savior. Kenneth performed songs from many of his albums including Greater Than Us All, Women At The Well and my favorite Hear My Praise.
Mindy Gledhill was a guest performer that sang back-up on many of the songs and even sang a few of her own. Apparently Mindy is an up and coming Excel star. I think she will be on their Lumen Records label. Mindy has a very distinctive voice, almost a Norah Jones meets inspirational music. After the concert I talked with many of the people in the audience and everyone was impressed with Mindy and her music.
Kenneth was so comfortable with the audience. He read some inspirational stories between songs and told some personal stories about his younger brother who recently passed away. After the concert I was able to visit with him for a few minutes and even got a picture snapped of the two of us.
I guess there are some perks to running
